Hi everyone. I am new to mount-l. So, allow me to introduce myself. I'm
Anthony Sebestyen. I'm a ski instructor at Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts at Mt. Baldy,
California USA. I am interested in becoming involved with ski mountaineering.
If there is anyone out there involved with ski mountaineering, please send a
message.

My first question: How do I determine the correct length of an ice axe.
I'm 5'10'' and medium build. I want it for self arresting.
