David, it's well established now that nifedipine is good treatment for
HAPE and I'll pull some references for you if you wish. Other calkcium
blockers also work but apparently in slightly different ways. The word is
not to use Nifedipine for prevcention in HAPE-susceptibles because of
possible hypotension. I'm much interested in all the info I can get on
HAPE-susceŠtibles because we may have a discussion of this at HYPOXIA
symposium in February 1995. Good to talk with you.
