For a while I thought this list had died. I wasn't getting anything
and I lost the new Email address. Well, I have gotten to any big
mountain since Rainier (6/94), but I will soon fix that as I am going
to Rocky Mountain National Park after Xmas. Long's Peak (14225 feet)
as well as many other amusements are in the area. The Diamond on
Long's is really impressive. I hope to do a big wall climb on it
someday, but not this trip (too much snow!, and too cold!). Lately I
been rock climbing way too much. I counted out of 100 days, 58 days
on the rock, and 30 all day on the rock. It's no wonder 5.11's seem
so easy now. So, what good plans do you have?

PS

This March I was in RMNP and the winds at were over 100 MPH at 11000
feet. My TNF Oval 25 was collapsing, and later, when the winds died
down quite a bit Marek went outside only to be blown off his feet.
When we talked to the Ranger later he said "Oh, I see things are back
to normal up there, you know, winds over 200 MPH are common." Hmm,
wonder what's in store for us this time around?
